Welcome. My name is Tim Gurney, and I am the owner of Excalibur IT Solutions.
Excalibur IT provides Solutions to your computer problems, whatever they may be. Our focus is on bringing professional IT Support, Consulting and Repair Services to our Small Business and domestic customers in: Berowra, Mount Ku-ring-gai, across the Hornsby shire, and North-Shore of Sydney.
Excalibur IT Solutions provides cost-effective, professional and comprehensive IT support services to our Small Business and domestic customers. We also specialize in consulting with Small Businesses to help them optimize their current IT infrastructure, leverage new technologies, and ultimately build a more robust and reliable IT infrastructure to underpin their businesses.
Excalibur IT Origins
So why Excalibur? Originally from England, I grew up on tales of the Excalibur legend, so when it came time to form my business, Excalibur IT Solutions was selected both as a call out to my English heritage and for the symbolism of Excalibur which evokes imagery of: Service with Honor and Integrity, which are core values that I ascribe to Excalibur IT Solutions.
A little about me
My IT career has developed over 28 years in the IT industry, where I have enjoyed a diverse range of roles both in the Small Business and Corporate worlds including: Technical Support (hardware and software), Programming, Consultancy, Project Management and Vendor Management. My career has given me the opportunity to travel the world, work with a lot of great people from all walks of life, and ultimately led me to settle in Australia some 18 years ago.

Coming from a consulting background, my focus is on ensuring that customers get the right solutions for the IT problems. I firmly believe that Computers, and IT in general, should be an enabler helping you to meet or exceed your personal and professional goals and objectives.
When things go wrong computers can be a major source of frustration and, whilst we can certainly help fix your immediate computer problems, we also go that extra mile to help you better leverage technology both in your personal and professional lives.
